United Way of Calgary and Area

NON-PROFIT - Since 1940, the United Way of Calgary and Area has been at the forefront of the drive for social change in Calgary. With it's focus on the three primary areas of poverty, kids, and community; it is today the city's largest social organization. Like the other one hundred-plus autonomous, volunteer-based United Ways across Canada, United Way of Calgary and Area takes the proceeds of their fundraising efforts and distributes them to local partner agencies, initiatives, and collaborations. The following video takes a look back at 2015, when it celebrated it's 75th Anniversary.
