Heritage Park

PLACES - Heritage Park Historical Village is one of Canada's premier tourist attractions. First opened in 1964, this living history museum gives visitors the chance to step back in time to the days of the early Canadian West. The centrepiece of the park is the Prairie Railway Town, circa 1910 which features loving restored vintage houses, stores, and machinery which all come alive through the friendly and knowledgeable "in-character" park interpreters. Also, don't miss out of taking a ride aboard the passenger train or the paddle-wheeler. The park's summer operations run from May to September, check their website for details.
